Coastal villages in the town of Cordova and nearby areas in Mactan Island have been affected by oil spill that was observed a day after M/V Saint Thomas Aquinas collided with M/V Sulpicio Express Siete and sank near Lawis Ledge in Talisay City, Cebu on August 16, 2013.
