Philippine Elections 2016

THE Philippines held its third automated polls on May 9, 2016. Over 54 million Filipino voters trooped to polling precincts to select their bets who are expected to adress the country’s problems like poverty, foreign policy in relation to the territorial dispute in the West Philippine Sea (South China Sea), Metro Manila traffic congestion and mass transport, job security, health, climate change, education, overseas Filipino workers’ concers, and peace in Mindanao’s conflict areas.
